The advocacy journey of Owolewa

Owolewa, although does not have voting rights as the shadow representative for his party, his position is still significant still. But his main function is to lobby the agenda of the District of Columbia and its quest for statehood.

Their re-election ensures that they continue to represent the people of DC in Congress with nary an equivocation of power.

Who is Oye Owolewa?

Born in Massachusetts in Newton, Owolewa had his schooling at the Boston Latin School and acquired his PhD in pharmacy, from the Northeastern University in 2014.

After relocating to the district, he switched from the world of pharmacy to politics with the purposes of solving significant problems.

According to a Owolewa, his policies are such as; Climate change, controlling cost of prescription, resources in his community.

Apart from being a committed politician and a pharmacist, Owolewa fights with passion to create change for his DC voters.

This erases doubt over his commitment to these goals and his determination to advance policies helpful to his district, and the general American population.
