The 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA, took place on May 10, 2025, at the Exhibition Center, Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria. Organized by MultiChoice and sponsored by Amstel Malta, the event celebrated excellence in television, film, and digital content creation across Africa.

Broadcast live on DStv and GOtv, the ceremony was hosted by IK Osakioduwa and featured the introduction of a new category: Best Music Score.

The awards honored outstanding achievements in various categories, with notable wins including Femi Adebayo and Chioma Chukwuka for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Drama, respectively, for their roles in “Seven Doors.” The film “Lisabi: The Uprising” also garnered multiple awards, including Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa), Best Art Director, and Best Makeup Artist.

Veteran actors Nkem Owoh and Sani Mu’azu received Lifetime Achievement Awards, while Kayode Kasum was honored with the Trailblazer Award.
