Orowole Kolapoz, widely known as Kola Onifoto, a 32-year-old Nigerian photographer and biker, died following a lone motorcycle accident in Lagos on Sunday, March 2, 2026.

The accident occurred during his first solo ride outside Lagos, a trip he had shared with followers on his social media.

Friends and supporters rushed him first to the emergency unit of the Federal Road Safety Corps at 7UP, Ojota, and later he was transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba. Despite hours of treatment, Onifoto succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Monday.
