The Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, has formally welcomed Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, a former vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, into its ranks.

The party described his defection as a significant political development that strengthens its vision for building a reformed and prosperous Nigeria.

In a statement issued in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, the PRP said Baba-Ahmed’s entry signals “a new dawn” for the party.

It added that his decision to join, along with his nationwide supporters, would enhance its push for:

  • Economic transformation

Call for Broad-Based Political Support
