For March 2025 the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) authorized N1.578 trillion to be distributed among the Federal Government together with State Governments and Local Government Councils using month revenue figures.

Revenue breakdown

This distributable revenue amount of N1.578 trillion consists of three primary components and their corresponding figures from which FAAC allocates.
– Statutory revenue: N931.325 billion
This sum consisted of N593.750 billion obtained from VAT collections.
– Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue: N24.971 billion
– Exchange Difference revenue: N28.711 billion

The March 2025 gross revenue amounted to N2.411 trillion. The distributable funds reached N1.578 trillion after the Cost of Collection deduction (N85.376 billion) and N747.180 billion of transfers and refunds were deducted.

FAAC allocates funds

– Federal Government: N528.696 billion
– State Governments: N530.448 billion
– Local Government Councils: N387.002 billion
– Derivation revenue (13percent of mineral revenue): N132.611 billion

From the N931.325 billion statutory revenue:

FAAC allocates VAT revenue distribution
