Residents of the peaceful Akure neighborhood are shaken by the news. According to locals, the victim was a bright young man whose untimely passing has left the neighborhood in a dark place. “This is devastating. One resident told reporters, “We never expected such a thing from people living so close one another.”

The deceased’s family has demanded justice, pleading with police to conduct a comprehensive investigation and make sure the case is not dismissed. A relative stated, “We want the truth and we want the law to run its course.”
