Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to undertake a one-day official visit to Kebbi State on Saturday, where he will commission several projects completed by Governor Nasir Idris.

The visit highlights federal support for state-level infrastructure and development initiatives.

Details of the visit were disclosed in a statement issued Friday by presidential adviser Bayo Onanuga, who noted that the president’s itinerary combines official engagements with cultural diplomacy

Special Guest at Major Cultural Festival

While in Kebbi, Tinubu will serve as special guest of honour at the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most prominent heritage celebrations.

The event takes place along the riverside of Matan Fada, a historic location recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
