Security Forces Capture IPOB Commander, Neutralize Boko Haram Fighters

The details of how DSS, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force and other security agencies arrested the commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB), retrieval of 37,000 litres of stolen petroleum, and the termination of Boko Haram Terrorists in Niger State were revealed in Abuja yesterday.

Arrest of IPoB commander in Ebonyi state

A reliable source revealed that the DSS acted in collaboration with other security agencies to arrest the notorious IPoB commander in Ebonyi state. The source refused to mention the name of the arrested IPoB commander, stating that the information would be revealed later.

Operation against Boko Haram terrorists in Niger state
It was also said that the DSS also joined forces with the NAF and sister agencies to attack Boko Haram terrorists and bandits who had just finished attached Bassa-kukoki village in Niger State this last Wednesday. Many terrorists and bandits were killed in the attack, and three residents were murdered by bandits who were trying to escape.

Retrieval of stolen crude oil

The DSS did not stop there, there was also a retrieval of the wooden barge that contained about 37,000 barrels of stolen crude oil. The five suspects in the theft were also arrested during the operation and are currently being investigated.
The DSS and other security agencies have shown their commitment to tackling increased threats to the security of the nations. They promised to not allow terrorists and other mercenaries to cause havoc in the country.
