Nigerian Postgraduate Goes Missing After Returning from Abroad

The family of Daniel Ogoh, a postgraduate student at a foreign institution who is thought to have visited Nigeria recently has gone missing, with his whereabouts shrouded in mystery

The 6.1-foot-tall male was reported to have landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on May 5th, per a family source. And since then, the 27-year-old’s whereabouts are unknown, there is no chance of recovery.

The source also added that Ogoh had no criminal records against him, his name was on the manifest of people who came and had been cleared by the appropriate authorities.

To the family’s dismay, the visit went wrong when the returnee failed to show up and hasn’t been seen by any known friends, family, or associates since.

Police investigation continues with no leads

Attempts to locate him using his phone numbers have likewise proven unsuccessful. The family was alarmed by the dire possibilities, so they started a mad hunt for him and called the police.

The mystery remains unsolved despite the search and investigations conducted thus far.

Family’s desperate plea for information 

According to The Sun, the parents and other family members are experiencing emotional distress as a result of this.

“This is quite bad and strange. I found it incomprehensible that someone would travel from Europe and then vanish from his nation. We are going through a trying and terrible time right now,” Imade Osamede, his uncle, said as he sobbed.
