14 Nigerians Wanted by INTERPOL for Drug, Human Trafficking

  • Residents urged to cooperate with police giving any good information.

Fourteen Nigerians are on International Police Red Notice list pertaining to human trafficking, narcotics smuggling, fraud and robbery.

Law enforcement agencies in multiple countries are seeking the individuals.

These are the wanted Individuals

According to INTERPOL, the suspects include:

– Felix Omoregie (Belgium): Allegedly leads a criminal organization involved in trafficking children for prostitution.
– Jessica Edosomwan (France): Accused of trafficking multiple victims and also laundering money.
– Jude Uzoma, Uche Egbue, Chinedu Ezeunara (Uruguay, Nicaragua, Venezuela): Wanted for drug trafficking.
– Ikechukwu Obidiozor, Alachi Stanley, and Akachi Vitus (Angola): Accused of kidnapping, robbery, and illegal firearm possession.

Others include Mary Eze (Denmark: trafficking in humans), Timloh Nkem (Canada: sexual assault and failure to comply), and Austine Costa (India: forgery and conspiracy).

INTERPOL’s red notice explained

Red Notices are INTERPOL’s requests to law enforcement agencies worldwide that they locate and provisionally arrest wanted persons with a view to extradition or similar legal action.

The organisation also clarified: ‘A Red Notice is not an international arrest warrant’. Arrests are decided based on individual legal frameworks used by member nations.

Public collaboration required

INTERPOL further urges members of the public to provide any information about these suspects to local police immediately.
