BIPC to Open CNG Conversion Centre in Makurdi

Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) will add a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion installation to their Makurdi petrol station during its current reconstruction period.

Advancements in the CNG project

The Corporate Communications Head from BIPC named Joyce Isiaku reported through a statement that construction at the station stands at an advanced level.

Current progress at the installation demonstrates that engineers have finished basic structural work and they continue underground tank maintenance.

BIPC to open CNG conversion centre in Makurdi, “the project remains dedicated to sustainable energy development and fossil fuel reduction according to Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Tinubu along with BIPC Managing Director Dr. Raymond Asemakaha,” the statement declared.

Benefits of the CNG conversion centre

Vehicle owners will benefit from the completed CNG conversion centre since it allows them to change from traditional fuels to CNG as a cleaner and cheaper alternative.
