Condemnation of tariff hike

As stated in a joint declaration between Nans officials Comrade Anzaku Shedrack Ovye and Comrade Samson Ajasa Adeyemi the student organization denounced the price increase because it substantially increased phone call and data rates during an economic downturn affecting Nigerian citizens.

NANS considers this move as an insulting act toward Nigerian citizen well-being while opposing fundamental sector principles of affordable and accessible communication.

The organization pointed out how students face problems from this decision because inexpensive telecom services help them with academic research and virtual learning along with maintaining communication with their families.
