Dangote Cement Plc has given ₦15 billion worth of rewards to its best customers and distributors to thank them for their loyalty, hard work, and great work in helping the company grow in the market.

The Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, hosted the 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night, which honored the best partners with the theme “Partner for Growth.” The gifts were worth ₦15 billion and included cash rewards, cement containers, high-end SUVs, and CNG-powered trucks.

The Vision 2030 plan helps the organization grow

Aliko Dangote, the President and CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, said that distributors are the “heartbeat” of the company and praised their hard work in making sure that Dangote products get to communities all throughout the country.

“Your hard work in the field, your dedication to our products, and your direct contact with our clients make our vision a reality. Dangote remarked, “Today’s celebration shows that our journey of growth for 2026 has already begun.”

Dangote talked about the company’s Vision 2030 strategy again during the occasion. The goal of this approach is to make Dangote Group a $100 billion business by 2030. The plan’s key goals are to further help companies flourish, encourage cross-border investments, and make Africa more self-sufficient in areas like energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

While he said that the Dangote Cement Group expects to be able to make roughly 90 million tons of cement by 2030. Dangote also talked about projected growth in other areas, such as raising the capacity of the refinery from 650,000 to 1.4 million barrels per day, increasing the amount of fertilizer produced to 12 million metric tons per year, and increasing the amount of polypropylene produced.

Making Africa’s industrialization last for a long time

Dangote said that the company’s goals go beyond just developing facilities. He emphasized that the bigger goal is to improve Africa’s ability to feed itself, power its economy, and further move toward sustainable industrialization.

In conclusion he said, “The goal is to help Africa become more self-sufficient in food, energy, and people, and to promote sustainable industrialization.” The awards illustrate how vital distributors are to this goal by providing great service and bringing people together across the continent.
