Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their goodwill messages and support as he marked his 74th birthday, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to national progress despite prevailing challenges.

In a message to citizens, the president thanked Nigerians for their prayers, patriotism, and solidarity, noting that the encouragement continues to strengthen his resolve to serve the nation. He also acknowledged individuals and groups who placed newspaper advertisements and sponsored radio and television broadcasts in celebration of his birthday, describing the gestures as deeply appreciated.

Tinubu extended special appreciation to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for her kind words, as well as to Vice President Kashim Shettima for his tribute.

The president stated that, in keeping with his personal tradition and considering the current national mood, he opted for a low-key celebration.

He reflected on the challenges faced since the launch of his administration’s reform agenda, while expressing optimism that the sacrifices made by Nigerians are beginning to yield positive outcomes.
