Obasa’s Candidates Lose as APC Releases Lagos Assembly and Reps Primary Results

Candidates backed by Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, have lost their bids in the All Progressives Congress, APC, primaries for the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The All Progressives Congress has released its official list of successful candidates for the Lagos State House of Assembly and House of Representatives following the conclusion of its primaries.

Several aspirants backed by members of the Governance Advisory Council also failed to secure party tickets, reflecting a competitive and unpredictable primary process.

In Agege, Sakiru Enimakure emerged victorious as the APC candidate for the House of Assembly seat, defeating candidates reportedly preferred by Obasa.

The released list also showed that no female candidates secured the APC tickets for House of Representatives seats in Lagos State.
