Over the past 33 days, that holding rose by N19.31 billion ($13.23 million).

The rise in Zenith shares is part of a larger rise in Nigerian banking equities. This is because lenders are making more money because of high interest rates and changes to their balance sheets after regulatory changes.

Zenith’s stock is up about 49.45 percent in 2025, which is better than many of its local competitors and many benchmarks for emerging markets, this shows the increase in the leading capacity of Zenith bank.

An investor who put $100,000 into Zenith Bank shares at the beginning of the year would now have shares worth around $149,450, showing how well the sector has been doing.
